Here’s how to clean your mattress for impeccable hygiene !

To remove a fresh urine stain, start by rinse with lukewarm water. If that’s not enough, prepare a mixture of one liter of lukewarm water, one cup of ammonia and a few drops of washing-up liquid.

Protect yourself with gloves, goggles and mask, and work in a well-ventilated room. Soak a sponge in the mixture, clean the stain and then rinse with a clean sponge soaked in clear water.

To remove fresh bloodstains, dab immediately with a cotton swab. cloth soaked in cold water. For older stains, use either spirit vinegar, rubbing and then rinsing, or baking soda, leaving for 30 minutes before rinsing. Always dry thoroughly.
